Where do I turn in forms?
All forms turned in before the deadline should be placed in the big, red box labeled "SSL HOURS" located in the main office. Forms cannot be accepted electronically (email, scanned, faxed, etc.). Hours should not be turned in directly to Mrs. Stroot unless you have a question about your hours. Do not leave hours in Mrs. Stroot's main office mailbox, with another teacher, or on her desk. Mrs. Stroot is not responsible for any hours left anywhere other than the red SSL box.

How can I find out how many hours I have?
Check out the student Portal! Your hours are updated in real time, which means as soon as Mrs. Stroot gets a chance to enter them, you will see them! There are also totals on your report card and your unofficial and official transcripts.

Who else coordinates SSL hours at Wootton?
Besides a couple of pretty incredible student aides, Mrs. Stroot runs this program solo! If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Stroot and if she can't answer your questions you can reach out to the SSL Coordinator on the county level, Mrs. Shella Cherry.

I submitted my hours. How long until they are entered into the system?
It depends. If you submit hours well before the deadline, hours are usually entered within a week. If you submit hours the week of the deadline, it will take longer. There are 2,300 students at Wootton and most of them are submitting one or more forms. It takes a while to organize, verify and enter hours into the database (see: Mrs. Stroot runs this solo) but you can expect all hours to be entered before the end of the quarter, if not sooner.
